The 80’s was a revolutionary ERA for music. Let me explain why.
In the 1980’s the emergency of electronic dance music and new wave, also known as Modern Rock. As disco fell out of fashion in the decade,s early years, genres such as post-disco, Italo disco, Euro disco, and dance-pop became more popular.Rock music continued to enjoy a wide audience. In the 80’s, rap started to make its big debut.The way tap made it’s way to big debut is how rappers(such as Jay z and Snoop Dogg)went into recording studios,and they published their work in the 90’s after it was finished.
In the 90’s, Michael Jackson and people like Ice Cube, where on top. The rap, pop/blue’s, and hip hop genres were very popular.
In the 2000’s, hip hop, pop, and rap were the biggest genres of music. People like Destiny’s Child and Will Smith were some of the most popular artists of the decade.
In the 2010’s, people like Katy Perry, and The Weeknd, and Ariana grande, were very big celebrities. Rap started to become the way we know it today.
In the 2020’s, rap and people like juice wrld, xxxtentacion, Ariana grande, cardi b, Megan thee stallion, are some of the most recognized artists of the past three years. Reggaeton is a very popular thing with people like Daddy Yankee, Karol G, and Bad Bunny sing that genre.
